So it begins...The Rebirth of Blues...

Your gurrrrl Blues has been Classy Cocoonin’ ya’ll...taking care of house and home spiritually, mentally and physically all the while creating, conjuring and birthing gargantuan reflections of self never to be ignored again. I am who I am and for the first time in a long time, I had to step back, look at myself and just say, DAYUUUUUM GURRRRRRL!! LOL!!

I must say that I spent 2008 crafting the most beautiful mirrors and have spent the early part of 2009 starring at them in awe and watching them all shine back at me!! WOW!! From my husband, to our son, to the new album...watching life turn is a beautiful thing and I’ve been both dizzy and busy with excitement.

What this album means to my supporters (and haters) is this...

I’ve attempted to summarize my journey over the last two years in this beautifully flawed project and I hope that you can appreciate the rawness and vulnerability along with the power and self-awareness!! I am proud of self with this project; it’s a quilt of honesty, love, lessons and living and it’s only THE BEGINNING!! So much more to follow with both Scorpio Blues and Hot Water Cornbread and some of you apparently didn’t even see me coming. How many times have I told you to keep your head up, chin elevated, and eyes alert!! I’m not beneath you, I’m of you...

Too often we miss the signs right in front of us...so I encourage you to pay attention, pay it forward and ALWAYS PAY YOURSELF FIRST!!
